Amy Yasbeck Nude Lipstick Review

If you enjoy the full, dense, smokey eye, which is so often highlighted in the work of Yasbeck, you will greatly benefit from trying out her new nude line. In late 2021 she released her second full-coverage lip gloss called “Nude by Amy Yasbeck”. This was followed by a second full-length perfume called “NAVI”. The newest is sure to be a big hit as it continues to move toward being one of the most popular free nude lipsticks/scents in the market today.

This lip gloss contains both nude lip gloss and lip balm in an effort to deliver two products instead of one. The lip gloss is a light neutral brown which is quite nice. It matches most skin tones quite nicely. The lip balm is a creamy nude color that leaves it looking quite tempting. As a nude it does hide any flaws in the lip such as under-eye circles or blemishes that you would typically have to camouflage with a colored lipstick.

The entire lip line consists of four different lipsticks. One is called “Freeform”, which is described as a sheer nude, almost a neutral brown. The next two “Nudes” are both sheer nudes and have pinkish undertones to them. The third lip gloss is called “Shade” which is a pale pink. And last but not least there is the medium shade “Neon”.

For the Nude by Amy Yasbeck gloss, the packaging is very nice. It is packaged in a suede like material with a mirror on the front. On the back side of the lip gloss there is a tag that has her name, “Amy Yasbeck”, and a clear plastic window displaying her name, and the hologram of a nude. At the bottom of the label there is a list of all of her products, and there is a link to an online shop. All of her lip glosses are priced the same, and you can see samples of each one on the website.

For the blush, I would have to say that I am not a big fan. However, for some reason I found this blush on the “Freeform” lip gloss. It does a decent job of giving a nice natural looking blush color, and it does stay on all day long. For the price that it costs, I thought that I would pass. I did not realize that blush is usually sold separately from lips so if you do not want to buy the lip balm then you can probably get away with just purchasing the blush.

All in all I am not a huge fan of the blush. On the other hand, I like how she uses the lip gloss. It does what its supposed to do which is to give your lips a nice natural flush and a natural look. I think that you can only achieve a semi-nude look with either lip gloss or lipstick. If you are going completely nude then I would definitely recommend this lip product.
