Book Review – Nude Millionaire by Linda Durbesson

Linda Durbesson is one of the leading figures in the world of adult entertainment. Her name is synonymous with hardcore erotica, and she has been a long-time writer and publisher of such materials. In her recent novel “Nude Awakening,” Durbesson combines erotic fantasy with science fiction. In fact, the book’s concept is based on current scientific findings about sexual orientation.

While reading the book, I was wondering how much of Linda Durbesson’s persona had been allowed to leak into the story and how that affected the writing. In one scene, Durbesson’s character drives across country in a giant truck attached to a giant pole. We are introduced to this character through an informative conversation between two truck drivers. When they ask the driver why he drives around the large truck, he says, “Linda drives a big sexy truck.”

Is this sexual innuendo intended? It would be the first time I heard of such a detail from her, and I can understand if she had included it to shock the readers or to draw them in with anticipation. The reader could be left thinking, “You know, Linda is a dirty girl. She doesn’t have a clue!” But, in the context of the book as a whole, I think it works quite well, especially when the reader imagines what it might be like to drive along the side of the road with one of these huge trucks trailing behind you.

Another thing I thought was incredibly funny was when Durbesson’s main character, a man called Mike, was introduced to a new waitress at the coffee shop. The waitress is nude, and Mike, shocked at first, initially thinks that she is servicing customers and not people in need of a service. She then proceeds to give him a foot massage, which starts off the story. It is quite funny to see a woman give another woman an extended foot massage on a semi-nude basis. It ends with the two women kissing and making out. In light of recent events, I don’t think there will be many people criticizing the scenes between the woman receiving the foot massage and the man giving her an oral sex act.

The book was quite funny throughout, even when things didn’t seem to be going the way anyone anticipated. However, I would have liked more sex scenes, such as when Mike had to take care of some unfinished business after his date. In one scene, he had sex with his secretary, but later in the same episode, he goes out with her again. I think she may have been expecting him to take her back to his apartment.

Overall, Linda Durbesson’s Nude Millionaire is sure to find its way into the hearts and minds of readers who like romance and naughty books. There are many familiar names, but it doesn’t lose its appeal because of that. I think it is a great addition to the pantheon of romance and erotic literature. For the couples who read erotic novels, especially the Nude Millionaire, this book could turn out to be an “A-story.”
